CleanFlow Joins the NORAM Group of Companies

NORAM is pleased to announce the acquisition of Swedish technology company, CleanFlow AB. In a signing ceremony in Stockholm today, NORAM acquired the shares of CleanFlow, and added another innovative product to the technology line-up it offers the forest product industries worldwide.

CleanFlow offers state-of-the-art liquor filtration systems to pulp mills, with its patented breakthrough in membrane operating procedures. The green- and white-liquor filtration solutions allow pulp mills to increase both production capacity and liquor quality by reducing the suspended solids loading in the liquors.

The acquisition of CleanFlow comes on the heels of the successful commissioning of the largest and most recent of its plants to date, at the ENCE mill in Pontevedra, Spain. The robust membrane technology positions NORAM to address a large market segment capable of cost-effectively retrofitting the technology, with attractive ROI’s. CleanFlow will be co-located with NORAM’s European subsidiary, NORAM International AB in Gothenburg, Sweden, with support from NORAM’s Pulp & Paper Division in Vancouver, BC.
