Dr Clive Brereton Honoured

NORAM is proud to congratulate Dr Clive Brereton, Vice President Technology, on his induction as a Fellow of The Canadian Academy of Engineering. The ceremony took place in Quebéc City, in conjunction with the Academy’s 2019 Annual General Meeting and Symposium.

Dr Brereton’s engineering career has spanned a wide diversity of chemical processes and industries, and his pursuit of technical innovation has contributed signally to NORAM’s success on the world stage. He is highly regarded for his expertise in chlor-alkali technology, flow batteries, and electrochemical process technology. Dr Brereton has also been the driving force that has propelled the NORAM Group of companies to the forefront of industrial electrochemistry.

Colleagues and clients alike have benefited from Dr Brereton’s ever-ready willingness – and deep-seated experience – to take on the process challenges of the day. The award also recognizes his stature as a mentor and an example, both within the profession, and in his role as Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia.
